Fiona Jarman and Jane Rowley were chosen to represent Alliance in the O60s World Cup in New Zealand.
Fiona captained a team including 6 from the Home Nations, 3 Canadians, 3 Australians, 1 American, 1 Dutch and 1 South African.
Alliance finished 2nd in their group, losing 1-0 to the Netherlands, drawing 0-0 with Canada and beating Argentina 4-1.
Further matches against England LX 0-2 and Australia Invitational 0-6 meant a bronze medal in the Spirit of the Masters competition.
Fiona, not only honoured with the captaincy but was also awarded Alliance Player of the tournament!
Well done to both of you, sounds like an amazing tournament!!!
